Spring is in the air at Northfork. The snow has melted and the horses are shedding their winter coats. This time of year is busy at the farm. The Northfork staff are hard at work getting the facilities ready for field trips, birthday parties, and summer camps.

This year is especially busy because of the updates to the Northfork Outback facilities. Northfork guests in spring 2016 will find that the updates make the facility more accessible and usable for a broader audience.

The updates will include new bathrooms, shower houses, a commercial grade kitchen, and a multi-purpose gathering space for dining or other group activities.

The intention of these construction projects is to expand the reach of Northfork guests looking to stay overnight, whether as a family or with a group, such as Girl Scouts, 4H Clubs, church groups, etc.

Updates are scheduled to be completed before the 2016 summer season.
